not nice!

Yeah, there everywhere. We just have to do our best to deal with them. It's best not to act that way in return.

As far as actually talking to my neighbor, I don't talk to any of my neighbors. Well, except for my in-laws and that isn't often. I once was nice to a neighbor and it became an everyday thing. She would be knocking on my door with coffee in one hand and cigarettes in the other. And didn't leave until her husband was about to come home from work.
I prefer my privacy and to be able to run around in my sloppy sweats all day if I want to and not have to worry about somebody popping in and having to entertain. And with those people, I don't want involved in what they do on the side. Their illegal activities. I don't associate with dealers and addicts.
It was nice of him to give us that rooster and I feel it was a gesture to be nice after he came here about that dog thinking it was ours. LIke I said before, we didn't get offended, we would have been upset if it where us in his shoes.

Man, i wannt to get me one of those to walk around the yard! Whatever you have keep him around. Dont get too upset of peoples comments on liking him or not because you do! And i do! and if you do whos to say its not

I don't get upset about rude comments. It may not have been meant to be rude. I don't imagine that person will have to look over in my yard and have to look at him either since we live a long distance away from each other. I'ts just their opinion. I've just never seen anybody actually post that about somebody elses bird. There are breeds out there that I think are ugly too but instead of saying its ugly, I say it's not a breed of my preference. We all have our own opinions about things. That is what makes us all different in our own ways. Just like our birds.
The comment didn't hurt my feelings. I was just surprised that somebody would actually take the time to say it. I think maybe she just needs a hug.

I've worked as manager in the pizza business and also a manager in the tax preparation business. We have to be nice no matter if we are getting cussed out or what ever. I learned how to "Be Nice" and still get my point across. There have only been a few times that I wasn't nice but it takes alot. And when I have to deal with somebody else that works for the public and i'm angry I always let them know that I am not angry with them and apologize for being rude if I do happen to be and that I know they are just doing their job. Then I ask to speak to their supervisor and keep going up until I can't go any farther. Then thats when I show them what and who i'm upset about. Now if any of them get nasty with me first, its on. Last year I was manager of a tax preparation office and one of the employees just could not hold her temper. I had to teach her how to handle difficult people. She is manager this year so I must have done something right. I even had to call the police to have a man removed but I was nice the entire time. He didn't understand where 25.00 of his money went and wouldn't give me a second to explain the fees to him. He just went on and on cussing and threatening me and accusing me of stealing his money. Which by the way isn't possible. So I very nicely asked him to leave since we can't resolve the issue and he refused to call my supervisor. And it was his second time coming back to repeat the whole conversation. So I told him if he did not leave the office I would have to call the police to have him removed. He actually waited for them and repeated what he said to me, to them. He was escorted off the property. This person had gotten his return months before this too. He just ran out of money and wanted me to write him another check, which that is't possible either.
