I Woke Up With A Mouse In My Bed

* Yep-- but poor "Mr. D" is gonna be laboring under a serious handicap now that he is at the kid's house. . . THEY don't have a tub, just a big shower. . .

Thanks, chickiebaby! It's not only my tagline, but also my philosophy. I never want to be in lockstep with any creed or doctrine.

Back to the topic at hand! I tried to give the chooks a still warm dead mouse yesterday and they were having none of it! Don't know why the sudden turnaround! Just can't figure out those XL chickie brains!

The Simple Life-- if that happened with my daughters, I'm sure they'd be screaming like nutjobs, for sure. Live mice... oh my... so terrifying! EEEEEKKK!

Luckily, last night was mouse free.

That's a funny read! I guess we'll still with the Rat Zapper since it doesn't deposit the dispatched mice in the bed!

We are in Hanta Virus country, mice are rather dangerous to have under one's pillow.

My house cat Cocoa is a true hunter and he was rescued from living in a wooded area when he was little. Cocoa can get a mouse in a heartbeat. Sometimes he eats the whole mouse sometimes just the head! He is a well fed house cat but he can catch a full grown bird also. Cocoa also can climb high up in my tree in the front yard. I can identify with having mice corspes around LOL. I hate to see him catch a mouse especially the cute field mice but that is a cats nature for you. I have never heard anyone trying to break a cat from not hunting before.
