We haven't been in a few years. I really would like to try to find a lama. I've always wanted one and hubby said once I got rid of three horses, I could get one! I heard one year they had pet skunks they were selling. It's just fun to go and see what everyone has!

There are 2 shows on the West coast of Iowa ...Avoca, Mothers Day weekend and Scribner, NE I think June 1st?? Folks sell at those places.

Clay County Fair begins this weekend. Poultry show is Sunday. It is the only District 4-h show in the State of Iowa. It is a time commitment however to bring birds this far and show then have to come back and get them. However this year the rules have changed, anyone with a good reason such as distance, is able to take their birds home after the show. I guess this should be remembered for next year if you have kids and want to do more 4-H poultry showing.

There is a an auction in Stuart on Sept 8th. Never been there but hear they have a nice arena.

Heard it's a very good auction, I'll be going this year if anybody has any Black Tailed Jap or D'Uccles bring them! I really would like them.
