IBW...with Pics!

This is Emma on her IBW shift. Actually, she's playing mama to "her" Caesarean Chicks. She and I spent lots o' time with these two this weekend, and she's as big a softie for the little fuzzy bums as anyone on the board.

This is the reaction I get when I tell her we have to go back downstairs...

Chickens make the world a better place. It is our duty as citizens to populate it with as many chicks as we can hatch out!

Wow!
Very nice addiction you got there...I mean setup...hehe
Love your dog and her nurturing instincts!
Good Luck with the hatch!

I've been up and down the stairs all day today on the lookout for those early Day 19 pips. None yet, but while I was playing with my Caesarian Chicks, I could hear little chirps coming from the hatcher!! Time to put the coffee on!!!

Day 20 update~

As of 10 mins ago, one of Charlotte's eggs (from Cyn) and 3 of Lisa's BR eggs have pipped. And that hatcher is still chatty! I was so giddy about it that I actually took pics of the little poke holes in the eggs, but I figured slowing down the thread by posting those might be a little obnoxious...lol!

Cyn, did I remember you mentioning something about your Blue Orps usually hatching on day 22, or am I thinking of someone else? (sleep deprivation is catching up with me...d'oh!)

After a few days of nice, melty weather, it's going to be cold again until Wednesday. There is a wind chill advisory out for my neck of the woods as I type...perfect IBW weather! Gotta go grind more beans!!
