Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm how much did it cost?
I have a few expensive ones like that for food and they were poop in an incubator..........I usually have anywhere from 2 stem types (gQfs) and a few wire types (like the one above) and a digital in the incubator, all at once, due to paranoia (

) I never have been able to trust just one type.
Also have a gQf wet bulb type & cannot get it to work to save my skin.....

I do not know if this relates, maybe Kathy or others who raise Marans may have noticed...but it has always been my experience that Marans cockerals (and cocks) have much thicker & fuller shank & toe feathering than do the pullets & hens.
It may be a good way to sex the Icelandics, any with really full shank feathering are gonna be cockerals ?

Been washing birds for the show this week end & have to share this, though has not to do with Icees....
Washed this girl yesterday & blew dry, she has lived on the kitchen floor to stay clean & warm after her bath.
She is hard at work rotovating all her shavings out all over the floor.

You know how hard it is to get shavings out of the rugs???????

Kelly.......................I have falling deeply in LOVE with bantam barnies.........the egg they lay is as big as a LF........awesome birds!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am getting stock from birdsnbeasts (Oregon) and she will be at the show this weekend in Chehalis, Washington....she has said she'll bring me eggs (gotta finish cleaning the gQf) and then she said her girl stopped laying so she'll bring me a quad..................
ya.gif

I AM SO EGG-CITED!!!!!!!!!

I am taking a quad of Icees to the show, instead of a educational display, I am renting sale cages & will offer the quad at POL for sale plus one extra cockeral (should something happen to the 1 spangle)
I will put a big price on them, and a OBO..talk to me on the cage.............I am not looking for big dollars here, but rather someone who is dedicated & seriously interested in the breed.....and I think I know who it is already......

I am being put on restriction by DH who has HAD IT at caring for my birds being that I am gimpy....but he has accepted the bantams as they eat less, etc.
I have taken him to many shows & he LOVES the Seremas!
THAT is too small for me.
Maybe tell me more about your LF Barnies?
