I've got a broody!!! I think she is going to get some eggs out of the bator next week from the easter hatch....

I'm hoping I'll have some to take over eggs I have, and will be having, in the incubator.

Ugg, my Iowa Blues are starting to go broody. 2 out of 7 so far. I better get my orders filled before I lose them all.

Well goodness knows you can't give her ALL the eggs in your bator!

One of my barnevelder girls is plucking her belly. I hope she goes broody before next week when my eggs hatch!

Checked on the broody this morning, still nothing. I need an emoticon for pacing a track in the carpet.

I read yesterday that lower temps can cause later hatches. Is this true? Because these eggs were in my incubator for 2-3 days before I set them under the broody, and I keep the temp betwee 99.5 and 100 F.

When I got home today I peeked under my broody OE I saw one of her eggs had zipped....couldn't tell if the chick was out or not because I set her back down as soon as I saw that. I know how you feel Red
