Ideal customers PLEASE help me with answers!!!!!

Yes Ideal does put phone info on the box. Mine was on there when I picked up my chicks.

I live in southeastern oklahoma, it took three days - ship day, wait a day, then arrival. The first batch of chicks I received, only lost one. The second batch I got, lost 7 of them.

Ideal was great though, and refunded my money for the lost chicks. I only called about the 7 from the second batch.

The next batch I'm getting, I used my Mom's address which is in northeastern Texas. Gonna see how the shipping fares this time. They're being shipped today, so... maybe I'll get them tomorrow?

I didn't order from Ideal but from a hatchery about 3 hours away thinking they would spend less time in transit. Still took 2 days and the poor babies had a very bad ride. 10 died out of the 25 ordered and several are "iffy"

I'm from northern Wisconsin and we are finally having some upper 80 degrees days and I think someone was overdoing the air conditioning.

I called Stromberg's and they said if anything doesn't make it in the next 48 hours they will refund those too. But still it's just so depressing to open the box and see that many dead and the poor stressed out live ones.

So that was how my morning went.

It's so bizarre to me that people would act that way. Maybe I live in la-la land, where I love it. Our post office has two employees, the postmistress who is also the postal clerk and a single carrier. When I got to the P.O. to pick up my chicks, the postmistress told me they had opened the box to see "just how cute they were" and I was perfectly fine with that. They didn't see the two dead chicks, I didn't either until after I got them home and out of the box, and I'm glad they didn't see them. That would have been a sad way to start their day.
