Identification and advice Please!

Hey!

We were given our two beautiful hens by a friend of a friend who shows chickens, but he couldn’t give us much information on them. I can’t seem to find any of the same liking online to specifically identify!

We know that they’re lavender bantams but their feathered feet are what confuses us.

One of our girls is broody, so we’ve put some fertile regular bantam eggs under her, but it got me thinking, if I wanted to breed her, how would I pass the feathered feet on, would I need a similar cock?

Does anyone have an idea of exactly what they could be a mix of so that I can breed similar chickens to my original two?

Those are cochins, or if you're not in the US, pekins Feathered feet is a dominant trait, so their offspring would get them, though they wouldn't be as profusely feathered as their mothers unless you used a cock that also had feathered legs.

Hopefully she will bring up these little bantams successfully and I will consider breeding from her.
