Identify breed

Can anyone identify this chick breed. I bought 10 from a supply store under the assumption they were buff Orphington chicks. They are not. I am not sure what they are. They are just under 3 weeks old.

You'll have to wait and see I think. The color could even out in the next molt. But I'm thinking you more likely have a Red Sexlink maybe.

Looks like a red sex link. Tsc always is mixing up their birds. They gave me polish instead of wyandottes and caused me a whole lot of problems.

Thanks for your responses. I've never had red sex links before. How do they compare to buff Orpingtons as far as temperament and production?

Less docile than Orpingtons but much better egg production....typically.

Okay I don't know if this helps or not but I dont think they are red sex links. I think I may have a rooster or 3. I don't know.

IF they're red sexlinks, and are yellow chicks coming in red... then they're female. If they're white chicks coming in white and red they're cockerels.

I do have one buff Orpington chick. For sure orpington. Came from another store after they gave me a mushy ameraucana. Could not tell them apart as day old chicks. I also have golden sex link chicks (I was told red and gold sex links are the same) that has lots more white. They were supposed to be all pullets.

I contacted the hatchery. Turns out they are sagittas.
