Hi! I would like to ask if you know any articles or journals that help one identify the breed ofna duckling?
I have a month old duck and we're curious about their breed.
Their description :
They hatched a dark brown close to black with dark brownish close to black feet and beaks.
There were some light brown yellowish markings but not as vibrant as those to mallard ducklings but still can be defined apart from their other baby feathers.
Fast forward a month, the duckling has a mix of betaeen dark brown and greyish brown feathers and their dark feet and beak had lightened.
Sadly the right duckling passed away two weeks ago... Since I didn't want my duckling to be alone we're looking for another duckling that needs a home...
