Are they supposed to float around and to the top of the egg?A blood ring is much more clumpy and uneven when you see a ring.

Exactly. @New duck mommy 2021 can help explain this.So turn them half way 7 times a day?
(I was confused on what this means)Always best to be an odd number so the longer night isn’t on the same side always
It doesn't really matter where the ring is, the location varies from egg to egg. But if you see vibrant red and spider like veins like your pics, they are alive. Are they supposed to float around and to the top of the egg?
Thank you so much for your helpIt doesn't really matter where the ring is, the location varies from egg to egg. But if you see vibrant red and spider like veins like your pics, they are alive.
Thank you for your help! Those look about day 4
Not sure about egg 3 but give it a few more days

3 , 5 or 7 depending how much time you haveSo turn them half way 7 times a day?
Odd numbers so you aren’t always on the X side at night when the egg goes longer between turning
Ohhh, thats genius.Odd numbers so you aren’t always on the X side at night when the egg goes longer between turning
Odd gives you one night of O the next of X
@BekahHah This is an excellent read on goose egg incubation ~ GOOSE EGG INCUBATION
I found it invaluable when I first started hatching them. I would also recommend the misting and cooling of the eggs as it replicates the natural process very well.
Good luck with the eggs!
If these are successful hatches, what would they eat as wild gooses?Ohhh, thats genius.
