It's a heat lampThey're going to need a bigger brooder. They need a way to get out of the light if they are too hot. Is that a heat lamp or a normal light?

We are getting a coop next week from a company in Columbus. But not a plan for the next step inside.Do you have a coop for them when they get older

I was honsetly thinking of putting them in an old pack and playLol always the right place to ask questions! Never a dumb one either!
Yes. We are allowed 3. But the store makes you buy 6 at a time. I'm not too worried tho Bc we live on the end of a dead end street in the middle of nowhereGood. You'll need a coop.
A livestock tub or large rubbermaid container works well. That's what I use.
Did you check to see if you are allowed chickens in your area?
You could. But cover the top so they don't fly out and risk dying from getting too cold.I was honsetly thinking of putting them in an old pack and play
They are eating the medicated chick food. How long do they need to have the heat lamp? You could. But cover the top so they don't fly out and risk dying from getting too cold.
What are you feeding them?
