If the ee's are all pullets..... And I have a fertilized egg......

He's the one that seems to be 50/50. He's also the one I'm watching.

Me too! As soon as (s)he does SOMETHING, I will def. let everyone know!

Although I do think "she" did the mounting squat yesterday.

I hope #3 is a pullet cause I have on that I think is gonna look almost the same as in color and feather pattern.

I guess I need to go get some pics and let the guessing begin. They are only 5 weeks old tho. Maybe I should wait awhile.

If it is doing the squat that seems like pullet to me.

Okay, #3 is defintely a hen, not a rooster. First- there is no such thing as a "rooster pattern" vs. a "hen Pattern" when it comes to color in EE. The incredible genetic mixing has produced anything but a standard pattern that some other breeds posess. Secondly, the neck feathers do not even remotely resemble pointed hackle feathers. Rooster hackles are 1/2 the width of a hen's hackles (at the most) and are typically at least three times as long. Those feathers would be looking like long, grafefully hanging threads if they were truly "pointed hackles. Additionally, there is a complete lack of saddle feathers. Those also would be the same general shape and size as the neck hackles- long, flowing, thread-like feathers. People often confuse feathers with a pointed pattern on them as being hackles when they are not. You have to consider the size and shape of the feather as well. I have raised many EE and it is obvious that she is a pullet.

Regarding the fertility of the egg in question, 2 months would be an incredibly long time to hold viable sperm but I never say anything is impossible- only very unlikely. I would think that the "bulls-eye" was simply misread.

I have to disagree with you, the silver duckwing pattern is quite common in ee's and is a good indicator of sex.

But, I do agree with your observations on the pullet in question.
