Yeppers I think I'll keep him for a bit longer!!

They are really cute!! So far I think these are the youngest one's I've ever had!! They barely have any wing feathers!! But I've been fighting with pasty butt on a few of them but I think we got it under control!!

What a great hubby. My hubby (literally just five minutes ago) just said no more chickens honey...you are forbidden from the feed store til all the chicks are gone. It's not that he doesn't care but...we just don't have the room. Sigh...you have the room and the chickens! Congratulations!

This is definetly it for sure!! As of now our runs not big enough but we'll have the addiction added before these are big enough. I'm even adding a 8x8 "nursery" to it so I can kick these out the brooder and off the porch sooner!!

I'm still trying to figure out what got into him!!

my hubby said lets go to tractor supply and i said no.. they get their chicks in last week in march.. and i have 22 coming from my pet chicken on april 12.. he says lets go.. again i said no.. you know what would happen?.. i said how can i leave a hurt chickie or duckie there and it would be 3 weeks diff from the ones i ordered.. he said but we need this and this.. sooooooooo my heart is racing as we pull into the parking lot... we get out and i immediately go up to the front registers and ask if they have chicks yet.. he said they will be there tuesday.. wheeeewwwwww so i went on in and shopped.. without being tempted..well a little tempted the pet rescue was setting up and they had the cutest baby lamb and goat.. so i scooped up the lamb and it did the tinest little baaaaa.. i put it down and walked away with only the things i needed... ty god for not having baby chicks there yet lol
