Amen. A great songwriter, but should never be allowed in front of a microphone.

Hey LilPeeps, my car radio here on the Outer Cape won't tune in to 102.5 - nothing but static. Oh well. 98.1 from Providence is loud and clear. This morning they played Toby Keith's "Man of Conviction". Never heard it before but I loved it!

Oh man... my kid/teenage years are a'comin' back to haint me ROFL !

Oh gosh - remember when they used to keep Charlie Pride a "secret" because they didnt want anyone to know what he looked like? I love Charlie Pride...

How about "Big Bad John?" (Then came the day at the bottom of a mine when a timber cracked and men started cryin'...)

Now THAT is country music...

I love country music and I love to 2-step. Anyone remember how hot those stiff starched jeans looked on cowboys? I can

Back in the day, I used to have mine starched (they would stand up in the corner) and I had to pull the legs apart to get 'em on. I taught my dh how to 2-step, now if I could teach him to 'feel the music' he would be almost perfect.

Merle, Waylon, Johnny, Willie, George J & George S are the best and anything with a steel guitar and a harmonica.

I (almost) take offense to the ex-baptist girls comment, but I couldnt stop laughing.

Being an ex-okie, I say ya'll all of the time and get made fun of too. DH cracks up when I use the work kin folks. It sure beats Uffda. I will be in my grave before i utter Uffda

But tell me was he wearing a hat?

The WALTZ??? The bane of all cellists because we always ended up doing the oompa, oompa part. English Chick, too late for me to take back the Christmas card I just sent you! (smiling)

Ahh but such a wonderful dance, when you are being held in the arms of the one you love, begowned and bejewelled radiant in his admiration......... posted your card you minx!
