Seems like southerners have a whole lot more fun and are more relaxed about things than us uptight Yankees.

Speak for yourself.

Rhett&SarahsMom - did you hear that Tim McGraw is thinking of running for Gov. of TN? I think I'll have to check out the Gov's mansion if he wins!

Country music is so popular up here. Everyone I know has started
listening to it.

When I lived in Georgia I was more of a country fan than most
of my redneck buddies. Most of them listened to Southern Rock.

I miss my redneck buddies. They were so real.

Oh, and I say "Ya all" with pride. You guys or Yous guys sounds dirty
to me.

This has made my day. You are all hilarious.

This was especially funny because at the grocery store this afternoon the checker said, "y'all have a great night." I thought, "really? y'all?" My husband and I got outside and giggled like little kids and playfully mimicked her the whole way home. We didn't mean it in an unkind way, it's just that neither of us had ever heard anyone use that word seriously. ..and then I get on here to find this. .. awesome.

For those who don't get country I suggest listening to Trace Adkin's
This Song's About Me.

Any parents out there? Try this one on.

Danced with my mom at my wedding to this one.

I just watched that - the lyrics are great, and I love the long coat, but his voice is a little unstable and a touch outta tune. Is he better in the studio?
