Seems like southerners have a whole lot more fun and are more relaxed about things than us uptight Yankees. I'm trying to think of a dance style that Yankees could call our own, and all I can come up with is the Irish/Scottish step dancing where they just hop up and down with their arms glued to their sides. That's gotta say something...
