Good morning everyone,
I've been extremely busy lately. I had to take in a group of Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock bantams from a kid that's off to college. I'm going to be taking care of them and breeding them while he's in school. They are beautiful birds, I'll attach pictures below.
The hen in the picture is almost 8 years old. She's beautiful, but she has a lot of mossiness in her barring. If you look closely, you can see the suprise chicks that she hatched out. 6 babies, possibly three males and three females. They tend to be sex linked depending on the pairing. We'll see if the colors match up.
I also picked up a trio of black Wyandotte bantams last night. I was going to Cullman, Alabama to pick up some birds for a client. I'm bringing her birds to the Ohio National next week. They are bantam Sumatras. You should definitely look them up. Anyway, I thought to myself, "Why not grab some Wyandottes from the best breeder around?" So when I picked up the Sumatras, I picked out a trio of black Wyandottes.
I got blacks because I have a big project I'm going to work on. I'll write a seperate thread for that. Looking forward to Ohio National next week! over 7000 birds entered!
