You'd be welcome. Got to have strict rules for that thread though. Got to talk to the chickens. Got to have a morning outfit that a bag lady would scold you for. Got to have at least one bodily chicken function on you by 9am . And most importantly you cannot at any point and time have a stick up your butt.

Um, can I get a "HELL'S YEAH!!!"???? It only took 27 weeks!!

I gotta go check poor Flower's little butthole, and make sure all is good down there, I just ran around like a freak, did the happy dance, and shared my very first egg pics with y'all!!!!!

Holy crap, I'm so freakin stoked, I sent you guys that before even my husband.
I just gave the neighbs an eye/earful. Picture it:

Jumping around in my NY Giants sweatpants, no bra with big giant boobies flopping around, Red Chicken Sloggers, a can of beer in one hand and my precious, beautiful, tiny midget egg in the other, singing "I got an eeeeeee--eeeeggg, I got an eeeee-eeeeggg, yeah I got an egg! Who is THE BEST CHICKEN IN THE WORLD!! Flower is, yeahhhhh!!"

Hahahahahaha, I *am* Stephanie Plum, I even got a Joe and the crazy-assed NJ family to boot! No Ranger though.

Black Copper Marans - 28 weeks old - not laying yet. Sigh.

My Outfit: eHarmony "Groom" shirt with big mud stain on the boob (no, I've never been on eHarmony), stretchy pants with holes in upper thigh area, those "gripper" socks they give you at the hospital, Crocs, unbrushed hair/teeth, 15 year old ugly blue coat that I've never worn in public but love cause it's warm and waterproof.

Lovely.

Please, please , please, we need a picture of that killer ensemble. Right now!

Why is my chicken acting so nonchalant? Like she didn't just poop out a big giant bowling ball. She should be kicking back on her nest, looking tired, smoking a cigarette.

Now I'm not even sure it *was* Flower. In my big coop I have 3 Silkies and my MFD, all 27 weeks. The babies in there are only 16 weeks...wait a minute, they are technically old enough to lay too! I have an EE and a Favaucana, another tiny lil MFD, and 2 Brahma Bantams. Should I check everyone's buttholes? I don't think it came from my littles, cuz then I would have a blue or green egg, and I think the banties are too young to lay.

It wasn't even Black Betty, and I thought for sure she'd be my first. She's in the other coop though. But I think she's getting ready to pop, too.
