That would be nice. And you'd def know what eggs were hers. I love the velociraptor stage! How cute that they're in the house. Do you give them free reign or are they confined to the tiled floor?
Oh wow.. yeah, I'm seeing 4 possible boys there (not that I'm an expert)... my leghorn had a big comb early on too. What are you going to do w/ the boys? Freezer?

No, I have a brooder and a cage that they stay in most of the time. I do let them out to run around 3 times a day. Mostly in the living room on the carpet, but trying to get them on the old linoleum in the kitchen more. The older they get the more time they would like to spend running around. I just tucked them in for the night as they were getting sleepy, but soon as I covered them they start screaming. lol

I'm not positive, but I am somewhat sure that I have 6 boys. Most, if not all will go to freezer camp. I will probably let a couple hang around until they start causing trouble. One of them is such a sweet talker. He sits on me and just cheep, cheep cheeps away.

I might try that with food coloring if I need to. Fenced off most of the chip pile today and let everyone run around. It was nice in the 40's today.

The babies are looking a bit moth eaten right now as they feather in.

That really is sad about the neighbor boy. Why on earth these unfit people keep bringing kids into the world that they don't take care of. Is there a father in the picture?

That sign is really pretty -- love it!

Yep there is a dad, he's a childhood friend and he's actually pretty ok but he works alot so its usually just miss potato butt watching the boy. She's one of those woe is me people, everything is terrible despite her having a family and a roof over her head. Honestly i want to just snatch her up.

Almost done the rabbit condo!

Right now it is in the Workshop, which is one of the sheds we had made and then they trucked it here.
After i paint the goat shed the bunny condo is going there for the winter. They might as well stay out of the weather.

What kind of rabbits are you planning to have? Are they for pets or meat? When I was younger we raised some California Whites for meat.

I have 2 Holland Lops, and 3 Lionheads right now. I find i get more for pets than meat rabbits and they eat less . But i might try to raise some for meat. Love the look of Californians.
