Supposed to be shatter resistant...I never heard of this. Though I bought most everything from TSC... Why do Teflon bulbs even exist?

I tried finding a better copy of it, to no avail. Sorry.I'm sure i just found it by a google search.
Speaking of frostbitten combs, one of my serama dudes has been brought inside because his was so bad. He will lose alot of it. And also because i have Honey inside. She was having a little respiratory issue, but has cleared up. Didn't want to take her back out in the cold, after getting used to being indoors, so I brought him in with her.
His name is Spicoli.

Check out his little crow, if you can call it that! Lol
I want to warn everyone about teflon coated heat lamp bulbs. One family lost 7 chickens tonight in a short period of time!
What is it w/ chickens and doing the absolute dumbest thing possible?
Last night my daughter went into the coop before me. I come in and she's just standing there.. we use straw on the floor. She's looking around for Ash's tiny egg.. then as we're standing there we hear a loud POP! After some digging we find her tiny CRUSHED egg under the straw. She must have laid it on the floor and it got buried while they were digging around. All that hard work for nothing.
I noticed some tracks in the snow this morning... 1 is either a possom or a raccoon and the other is a cat. Plus bird prints since there's feed in the straw that's been strewn about in the snow. And of course I moved my trail cam so it wasn't sitting right to actually get any pictures.
Oh wow. Thanks! What I thought was a rat I later thought it was a bird & now I'm thinking it's a rat again because it's Footprints disappear underneath a woodpile so once it gets warm again that pile is going to be moved, although I wonder if I should just put the live trap where it's going to see if I can catch it. It's a pretty big traps I don't think it's the right size to catch a rat, I caught a opossum in it before. I did get a prince in the mud ones that definitely was a coyote because apparently dog feet have the back Toes that point out where is the coyotes all point forward. Then later that was a giant dog apparently back there that my mom actually saw but I didn't get a photo of. Tomorrow I'll pull my memory card and see what he got a picture of recently but it's kind of disappointing that it it doesn't really work that great when it's cold out.I've thought about getting a trail cam, but haven't done so yet. Maybe next year a camera. I did put 3 of the battery operated motion detector lights and I'm pretty happy with those. I didn't put one on the far side of the chicken house because there's no tree or post on that side and the barn is too far away. More than likely nothing will try getting in from that side anyway.
I've had some large cat paw prints the past couple of winters too. Have never seen what is leaving them though. This was taken last year -- not sure if this was the cat tracks or something else. I think I had the cat tracks narrowed down to bobcat.View attachment 1235395
