Let me put it this way. DH's mother had the living room furniture we are using recovered in 1972 because it was worn out. The kitchen table consists of a top from his great grandparents place, the legs are from a set his grandparents had and the chairs are from a set his parents had. I won't even tell you about the bedroom set.

Ok, the living room furniture had me thinking "ewwww" just thinking about all the little tiny critters living in there (if mattress doubles in weight in 10 years due to them little bugs……….ewwww EWWWW). But on the good side, no nasty "fire proofing" yucky chemicals.

And the table.........that sounds like it has a story and lots of family history....................sorry I would be wanting to keep it.

Bedroom set..........I like rustic - am I close???
