I'm so old I Remember when:

I am told I taught myself to read out of this book. This one I found at the antique store today is in much better condition than mine was by the time my sister got done with it!View attachment 4052427
Dick, Jane and Sally taught us the most important word in all the world ... "LOOK!"

I remember reading Dick and Jane in 2nd grade! I got in trouble because we were reading out loud, and that went to slow for me. When the teacher called on me to read, I was a few pages ahead of the class, and had no idea where they were.
ALWAYS!

I'm so old that I remember when I didn't use to rant about the weather.
... and I remember ranting whenever we didn't get enough snow to close schools. But Holy Cow, when we DID, it was Full Scale Snowball War for every kid in the neighborhood, ALL HANDS ON DECK! None of this hiding inside to play electronic games. We had FUN!

DO IT! Theaters are modernizing to entice people away from NetFlix and their own comfy armchairs. DD treated me to a movie for Christmas (Moana II - WONDERFUL flick!) and I was shocked at the upgrades. The full-on easy chair recliners - with foot rests -`oversize armrests (no sharing) and a flip-down "side-table" were amazing! Get your popcorn early, 'cause you won't want to leave your seat!
I never leave my seat for snacks! I leave it for bladder breaks! :lau Is why I wait for movies to come out on CDs or, now, Netfix, my GC has an account. No comforts can beat a proximal restroom.

Pick an aisle seat. That's what I do. :old
