The cabin on our deer lease, years ago, had an outhouse. DD was using an outhouse at 2 years old. Never bothered me and we stayed out there for weeks.

We used an outhouse until I was 8 years old. Drew water from the well. Took a bath in a
#10 washtub.

I remember the Studebaker Avanti.

I remember the old lawnmowers that had no safety features at all. Grandma had one that you mashed that little flat piece of steel on the spark plug to kill the engine. After hearing the grownups saying just pee on it about something l tried that one day instead of bothering to use the little metal thingy. I only did that once. I well remember what a shock that was. Why do things like this get stored in my mind?
