-15C would be frigid, -20C would be evil cold, -30C d@mn friggin cold, and -40c and colder is ‘you have got to be frigin kidding’ cold (and yes I know -48c don’t blink when your eyes water you eye lashes freeze together, so don’t bother wearing mascara haha).

Yesterday it’s a gorgeous +12C (54F) I have no snow here and I am loving it!

My mum keeps reminiscing about ‘back in the 80s’ “remember when the snow piled up over the fences? And remember you dad marked -42c inside the hood of your car that one morning (03 Feb 1988 I think it was)”

Yup and I am sooooo glad we don’t have those sort of winters anymore!

At -40C you want to make sure Old Blue is plugged in so the battery doesn't freeze! This was a few years ago on a project in northern Alberta Canada

Camel is a brand of cigarettes. Once upon a time their mascot was Joe Camel.
In every pack of cigarettes there was one $1 Camel Cash.
You could spend Camel cash and buy stuff from their catalog.

They had several different T shirts and other stuff... Zippo lighters and a denim jacket was my or favorites.

We had a weatherman, Nash Roberts, who researched typhoons in the Pacific during WWII by flying into them. When a hurricane was coming he would be on TV with his map and grease pens and saying "The Nat. Weather Service says its going to do XYZ but I think it's going here."
We joked that we would should watch his house and when his wife packed the car it was time to evacuate.

Yes I understand now. Very rare to see this now with businesses. I bet those items would be expensive collector items.
