That is cool! Hubby taught me that when we went hiking in Potter County, PA.We learned how to topographically read maps in school.
As do I.I adore the old USGS topo maps. I still have rolls of them.
My son learned how to read a map in school. 5th grade I believeI bet they don't teach reading a map or using a compass in school anymore, either. Do they in teach it in Boy/Girl Scouts?
