I'm so old I Remember when:

The one that I do remember is the degree symbol. It is currently 31°F.

Alt 0176 = °

A few others are:

Alt 0241 = ñ

Alt 0169 = ©

Alt 0178 = ²

Alt 0247 = ÷

Alt 0233 = é

Alt 0153 = ™
🤯 More 'splody head talk. :barnie
Another reason to just use your danged phone. On Android keyboard tap the number key, then from there the one that has =\< and you get all those wonderful symbols including ¢ ° § ™ and even π. Unless you like doing things the complicated way. 👿
\rant off.

Here the penny has been removed from circulation. Costs are rounded up or down if it’s $5.03 then it’s $5.05. If it’s $5.02 then it’s $5.00.

Kids these days do not understand rounding up/down. They need a computerized till to do this.
This reminds me of a news article I read once of a fella who worked at a big bank or an investment firm or some such. At the end of every day the accounts that earned interest would round off to the nearest penny. He wrote a code where the partial cents from the thousands of accounts would all be deposited in an account he opened thus giving himself a steady stream of second income. The customers didn't lose any money and the bank never missed it because the individual amounts were so miniscule. This went on for a few years before he slipped up and told the wrong someone. I don't remember how much he 'earned' but the financial institution was not happy and he got convicted of theft. Some people are very inventive.

Wasn't that the plot for a movie? 🤔

KFC was really good, but the last couple times I've had it (5+ years ago) it wasn't as crispy or good as I remembered it being.

I still eat peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwiches. They are delicious with a side of tortilla or potato chips.
Just had a peanut butter ad jelly sandwich to take my meds with. Had one for breakfast. What's a guy to do with a stash of peanut butter and 40 jars or more of fine homemade muscadine jelly. Even strawberry muscadine jelly and orange muscadine jelly and soon will have a few jars of PMS jelly.
