I still don’t agree. I was playing Sousa’s Thunderer just now. He’s the composer and I’m the musician. I am not an artist :rolleyes:.

At least I now understand everyone else’s thought process :).
You technically are, in fact, an artist. You can see art, including reading it. You can hear art as well.

If I go to an art museum, I'm going to see art. I will take my time on the pieces I want to see.

If I go to a concert, I go to hear the art that the musicians are playing.

Hmm. Are you a musician, then? Or a performer? Is there a difference? 🤔 These are the questions that don't really keep me awake at night as I listen to my music.
 
I agree mostly on the books. My daughters teacher suggested 'The Hatchet' to my daughter. Good book, but not for a 6 yo!😠
I loved The Hatchet when I was little. We had to read The Lottery by Shirley Jackson. In middle and high school. Hated it. Still hate it. But I loved reading Gift of the Magi. That one was great
