Impacted crop

I'm not sure why its not emptying completely. I do have a 7yo rooster who's crop does not empty all the way when I check it in the morning, I don't know why, it could be old age. He does not act lethargic at all and is completely normal, he is going through a little molt now. A couple weeks ago I was holding him and his crop was full and I accidently pushed stuff up and he aspirated, I thought he was going to die, he was making a bunch of weird noises and had labored breathing. He got better and I started treating him for sour crop, his crop would almost never empty it would be small though, I was using the same treatment as you. I stopped treating him for it because I didn't think he had sour crop, his breath never smelled. His crop never empties fully when I check him in the morning but he's not acting sick so I'm not to worried about it. Its strange, I would think this would eventually lead to sour crop, right? If someone could shed some light on that I would appreciate it.
With her I know she’s still off Bc she isn’t interested in food like she use to be. If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t be concerned. I’m still hoping that when I get up in the morning for the rubs and coconut oil it won’t be needed, that just hasn’t been the case yet. I’m just so discouraged but trying to stay positive at the same time.

Really nothing new to report. She’s still acting normal. She will eat bugs and scratch around and pick stuff up off the ground to eat but still not interested in her food. Crop is still not emptying however I’m weighing her daily and she still gaining.

She hasn’t been doing to good. I brought he back in yesterday. Her sour crop has returned. I started her back on the Miconazole. She just stands and hangs her head. I fear things are not looking good. I can feel a mass when I massage and have broken it up some. There was a feather in her poop yesterday and some grass over night.

Is a vet care an option?

I wonder if she has a blockage that just can't be resolved without intervention.
Crop surgery would be the last resort of course.
Some folks do their own at home, but I'm not sure if you are to this point yet.

I'm going to tag @azygous Hopefully she can chime in and give some insight on something I have missed. Another set of eyes is always welcome that's for sure.
