Impacted crop?

None of my local stores sell insoluble grit...
In my chicken area.. lots of stones in dirt but also plenty of grass. Other areas with just tiny stones/rocks. Would it be good to gather up some stones myself and have them in a pile for easy picking grit?

Nah, I think they will find what they need in that soil. They like to dig about and pick out just the right piece it seems.

How hard are you suppose to massage? maybe I'm being too gentle? So far no difference. I've been giving her mash chick grower crumbles (so more easily digestible) and vitamin water. I'll try again with oil massage. Maybe I'll try look up a YouTube video...

Crop is still large but now squishy, she is off balance and can't stand on 1 foot to scratch and uneven ground she stumbles over. She still jerks her neck somehow looking involuntary like a spasm.

Oh, be sure she can still access grit while in the cage.
I did put some various size rocks in her cage for her to pick if need plus shell grit option.
Because she has been pooping she must be emptying somewhat but more concerning probably is the off balance/ stumbling around... I do have vitamins in her water so hopefully that helps soon.

Strange that she hasn't started laying yet so not sure if that is related to her problems. Other same age pullets all started 4 months ago.
