In a word, how would you describe your garden as of today?

Still-kicking - had to hyphenate that to make it one word. :p

The growing season is coming to an end slowly here, but there's still life in my garden.

We are getting plenty of Indian summer this year which has kept some plants like my pepper and tomatoes going still. There's still a few pumpkins and squash growing (planted early and expected to be have quite by now) as well as a watermelon too. I'm very happy I planted kale, brussel sprouts and Jerusalem artichokes because they are thriving and will go unhindered by cool nights and even cool days for many more weeks yet. The JAs will be harvested after we start getting frost, but they are native here and their tubers can survive the winter in the ground, which I think I'll leaver some to do. I still have some carrots and celery in the ground. My parsnips are thriving and waiting for frost before I pull them.
