So, you're starting in the spring?

Yes. Will try to produce I guess you would say a baseline to the look you're are trying to produce.

I call those Parent Crosses, or F0s.

Here are some of the birds I will start out with. Let me know what you think?
First one predominantly Shamo.

Second one some type of asil/oriental mix with feathered legs.

Third one hen Ayam cemani mix either cochin or silkie.

So the traits I should be looking for in foundation/parent stock would be.
1. Fibromelanistic
2. Green egg layer
3. Size
4. Long saddle and tail feathers
