In need of a sibling...

Only one baby hatched and it is in desperate need of a sibling. Cuddles up against the mirror in the brooder. Looks sooo lonely. I just need one little duckling but cannot find any place near with ducklings for sale this late in the year. Does anyone know where to get a duckling in June/July in Charleston, SC? Would a baby chick suffice as company for my little fella? Help please.

Baby chick may work till you can find a baby duck, have you tried Craigs list or the Buy sell trade thread here on BYC? also have a rehoming thread too. .Stuffed animals work too oops sorry
