Okay well he poop so thats a good sign!! I think. Hes a pekin/American duck mix. Im giving him a little bit of water brown sugar baking soda and salt mixter here and there his brooder is about 85 90 degrees. He seems to be getting better in time!

Pooping and getting better are good signs.

If you look at a dropping under a microscope, could you tell if the bird had worms that are in the GI tract (is that what it's called in birds?)

so if someone has never wormed their birds ever, what should they use? or should they do nothing if their is no problem showing    

Would be best to have a vet check the poop, that way you can treat for the worms found with a wormer that's effective on them.

Pretty sure ducks get the same parasites as chickens.

Sure are! I hope my birds never get any! 

Be were that a lot of chicken parasites use a intermediate hosts, especially beetles, earth worms ect. As vectors entering the chicken.

Insect from one hand are grate food source for them but there is always the tisk of infection! And the truth is that all chicken have parasites, the influence of them on the chicken is depending on their Load, and is dependent on the helth and the immune efficiency of the chicken immune system, instead on treating parasites invest in preventing from them to reach the load that make a damage.
