Hi there! How's the weather in your neck of the woods? Any fires?

Weather is awesome. It's cooler and humidity is up and coffees hot.

No fires to speak of. A few once in awhile but the firefighters have been getting the upper hand on them before they get anywhere.

No report on how my brothers 2nd home town is doing. He knows his house is ok but I've seen pictures of the town and parts of it did burn. I think he's going there today.

What's it like In Gilroy? I'm looking to have a chicken shipped when it gets stays in the mid 80's. The hen is coming from Visalia.

Thats great news!!! I wish i could get my Dad to lose weight 

Mark didn't have a choice, well I guess he did and made the right choice. Diabetic and his feet were starting to show signs of it. Since then he's been doing no carb diet. Blood sugar has done real well and feet are healing. The doctors are amazed at his progress. He and his grandkids that stay with him want to come and visit my "farm". So funny I don't see this as a farm but they are more than welcome to come and see it. They buy eggs from me.

Good point. We aren't trained to think that way. Yes my mind would eventually go that way but by the time it did It would be far too late.

We have an appliance installer that dresses the part of Santa at Christmas hands out candy canes to any kid in the neighborhood he's working in. Before I knew him I used to think strange fellow. Now that I know him he's a great guy. He's currently lost 60 pounds so he'll have a harder time dressing the part this year.

I would have been more concerned of I hadn't seen the girl selling them. He was a stranger, but we weren't in the street.
