Well i entered Coreen in the Molt Contest. Poor thing is the last to molt and she's molting her whole body in stages. XD She has ONE tail feather left, the others are about half in. She also still has a bunch of wing feathers, she shed the broken ones that she'd had torn off flush with the skin earlier in the summer and they're growing in. She looked TERRIBLE for a while around Halloween, and now she's nearly done.

Yup. Even made homemade Molt Loaf for all of them, they're all in various stages of molt. This is our first molt, I supplement with dog food and I haven't changed out their fermented feed for an autofeeder since I think it's healthier for them at this time.

Well hubs ended up working by himself on the sliding door, I walked out!
you know how that goes, sometimes a voice gets raised and I need to walk.
So I decided to do something I shouldn't until I am better. use the backpack blower.
well, I know deep subject. I ended up falling three times, each time when I was
walking backwards of course. But I am still in once piece, No hospital trips.
And No divorce either win win.

but I must admit I am not ready for that crap.

I think we might have to steal those ideas... I want a shed/coop combo like that when our house is finished being built. Almost exactly like that. Hubs thinks I'm crazy...

I never seen that mold loaf! dang we all are learning somethin new all the time arent we!

what husband doesnt think his wife is crazy? I like it, It would be neater if it was double decked on all three and have brooders on top with pens on the bottom because the big guys only come in to eat lay and sleep, so its kinda wasted space on the two pens. at least that would work with bantams for breeding.

If you have the wherewithall, the Brinsea's are hard to beat.
Otherwise, for a styrofoam incubator, I'd lean toward a Hova-bator circulated air model.
You can likely find used units of either design on CL or Ebay.

Arghhhh......help! I am so frustrated! I can't sign into BYC from my computer. I can only use my kindle. I forgot my password because I'm usually signed in all the time. For some reason my server isn't allowing communication from BYC. BYC is on my safe email list. I don't know what else to do. For quite awhile now, I haven't been getting notifications from byc and didn't know why.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I miss you guys, but this is over my head....I just listed some eggs on the auction threads, so am going to just have to keep checking things from my kindle
