When I went to let the dog out, I remembered I still hadn't closed up the coop. As I approached the run, I heard the ducks quacking which is unusual this late at night. I finally got there, and realize that the pop door had been shut for six hours. There were puddles to drink from, and plenty of grass and bugs to eat around the property. So they were fine as far as that's concerned. They just wanted their coop.
The ducks an inside almost immediately, but the chickens were happy on the outside roost. Yada yada... One of the girls got out of the run and I had to chase her around while she squawked that someone was after her. Fun times! :-D

today is lock down for us. Our first time hatching eggs. We are using an older brinsea octagon 20. Humidity is at 60 and temp is 99.5, does that sound ok?
