How is the coop? I am two days behind, but I am too tired to care about going back right now. Did I miss anything big?

Coop's done. Started on the run yesterday, but weather shut me down today

Mine was nothing. No shell or membrane, i have also had soft-shells where it is just the membrane

They getting enough calcium, like oyster shell? I don't use oyster shell myself, but I do give them all the empty shells from the kitchen. I've never had what you describe from anything except brand-new layers

Decided it was time to open the bator to pull some chicks out. Currently have 23 out of 26 that went into lockdown. 2 look decent still just behind. 1 has a very funny shaped aircell. Should have snapped a pic but didn't think about it. Aircell was almost half the shell but it was lengthwise instead of the top portion like usual. I will try to get a pic of it and post later. Very happy with the 23 that I have. The broody that was sitting decided it was more fun to keep laying than sit so she's back in the big coop.
