INCUBATING w/FRIENDS! w/Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs No problem!

Hi Everyone. This is my 2nd set and hopefully first successful hatch! We are brand new to chickens and we have 7 in a brinsea incubator. I have a question about egg weight. I posted it in the main board but didn't get any responses. I have some eggs that are loosing weight right on track and a couple that are major slackers. Should I count these out? My last hatch didn't go well due to humidity and temperature issues so I really want to get it right this time. Below is my chart.

Don't count them out yet. What great record keeping. Did you make the chart?

I don't have any experience but I think at that age it is really hard to tell breed.

It had been my intention to allow her to raise her chicks... Not kill. I would try to reuse them but she has started caring for her other chicks---- its just the one chick she hurt

I KNOW!!! The grey one looks exactly like my girl Marci. The third one up. I'm unsure but I think she is a Andalusian chicken, but can't be sure.

I guess what concerns me as much as anything is whether his sons (or at least the ones I keep) will inherit that aggressiveness toward humans, or even whether it manifested itself as a result of something happening before you or I ever got hold of him, probably involving a man, since he was clearly not that way around you.

Maybe you could keep all his sons you hatch while evaluating their temperaments. Keep the most docile one.

Hello! I really need help! My chicken had abandoned a few eggs before hatching and a single check who she had pecked badly. The check is in the incubator with another two eggs. When they hatch how do I bring them back in with the chicken?

I don't think you can.
