It's not a emergency she's not bleeding and she has no wounds and it happened three days ago.

Oh wow, I thought you may be talking about cross beak. But this just happened? Will her beaks come together, at all? Goodness, this is a tough one, I don't know how to help you, hope someone can. Sounds like you are helping pretty well. I would water down some chicken feed for her too..and smash up some scrambled eggs..do you have a syringe? How are you feeding her the soup?

I am NOT thrilled with my new post office. 3 times now boxes of eggs have been delivered to our door. The last 2 times I have called to hold my eggs at the office. And yet they still get delivered doorside. Getting frustrated. I guess the only saving grace is that none of the boxes had been marked for holding at PO, even tho I requested it. The first eggs received for the halloween HAL were delivered to my old PO and they held them for me no problem. Thankfully this won't be our "end" PO after our house is built, but still. Frustrating!

Out of batch #2 to be starting turned tomorrow, none have any veining whatsoever.

At least with the first dozen, we could see the 6 that did have veining. Hopes are dwindling for this dozen quickly. Hoping this next dozen from a different seller to be set in a few minutes won't be complete duds!!

I'm curious as to whether those little dividers will hold those chicks. I doubt it.

She got attacked by a fox, she it's just a bit bent in the jaw and she was bleeding out her jaw but it stopped, Yes i do, With a spoon.

I was laying in bed last night and I REMEMBERED why I didnt use this beautiful Dr. avy @cochins1088 created for me!!!!

I told myself it is a doctor avy, even if it is a chick Dr!........ I am not yet "TECHNICALLY" an educator on BYC, not sure why at this point

but I want people to feel confident that I can help them and KNOW that I KNOW what I am talking about. I am not the kind to go seek people out to help them I never tried to become who I am, I became who I am by WHO I am, by putting information out their for EVERYONE so they have it WHEN they need it, IN my notes, articles and so forth and I am one that people come too for help, in messages, over to FB and such. I am not your typical BYC thread hopper I guess you could say! I am just me.....Silly SALLY SUNSHINE my ovations say Sally Sunshine is a renowned expert in the community

expert is a BIG word! My incubation and other articles have who knows how many views and helped how many in the community and OUT of the community, I am honored to help others! I know that the educator award is a BYC Staff awarded accolade, so I must be doing something wrong. Anyways, until I am educator and get my Dr. degree I wont use my Dr Avy. insert harrumph here

IF,enyone could answer.I have had temp spikes of 105 in my still air bator,I was wondering,if it can course early hatches.?

My oldest egg is from 11/2. That was the day they first started laying. So the oldest is 7 days old. My newest just popped out of the vent about 2 hours ago. I kept them inside my garage, at roughly 60 degrees. Humidity is about 36% inside. Is that too low?

thats fine up humidity in the bator to about 55 if you can I know you dont have that nifty additional thingyamajigger but your eggs are small, 60 is fairly warm for those littles is that the coolest place you have for storage?

I have another question. When I go into lock down, do they stay in their wire holders, or do I remove the holders and let them lay on their sides?

I have a 2 day old chick with a broken wing! I have no idea how it happened ..got home from shopping and it looked odd ..it's hanging down can anything be done to mend it?

My ducks eggs are on day 5 and appear to all be infertile too. I guess all our drakes are slacking. Come on boys!!

lol add a few red marbles to their food as well, if that doesnt work try adding a mirror to give the chick a break
