Pistol?!?    Hope you are getting some expensive eggs to make this a fair deal!  :gig

My own stock, he's been wanting this pistol for a long time, so when I brought up incubating again, he said "whatever dear, as long as I can go buy that pistol" :)

You'll probably shoot it as much or more than he does

Ssshhhhh! :gig

That's part of the beauty of the deal!

LOL, you've got it down. Need some photos of you shooting that pistol some day. An early Christmas present..for both of you!

I KNEW it!!

I love adding Cow Manna, especially in the winter when their is snow down.  No bugs out there for them.  Also, and of course, a scrambled egg here and there.   I don't throw much manna out, it's pretty good stuff.  Only need a small handful a few times a week during the winter.   For greens, I do make fodder, and I try spinach.  Sometimes a flock likes it, others don't.
What else do you use for green stuff they will eat?
Speaking of fodder, with the snow we are getting, time to start some.
my father's flock is crazy for Swiss chard. we've never tried to grow it in winter though...

Oh it is getting close to Christmas ugh...

Not that there is anything wrong with pistols...or chickens. Pretend not to know how many each other has...

Right!

what kind of turners do you guys (girls) prefer. Im building another incubator (large wine cooler) and can not decide if I should go with 5 trays that turn like a gfq or if I should go with 5 sets of turning rails.
My wife likes the trays but she also wants them to be pull out (draw style) as she tends to add eggs with no real plan, We need to be able to read the dates written on the eggs so we know which ones need moving to the hatcher.
Either option seems ok so any advice would be welcome.
