My second hatch is complete, overall I think it went great. I got a total of 15 chicks now.

I had 10 eggs at lock down, one died at day 19 and the other had an external pipped but didn't make it through the night. He was only pipped for 12 hours.He had his entire beak out of the pip hole to. I am not sure the cause, he may have just forgot to zip but I think I actually boosted the humidity to much (because of the other chicks membrane was turning brown) and that might have did it. I am hoping to get a better set up to keep the humidity stable for lock down moving forward.

dont forget to get us pictures when you have time! Sometimes they have issues that we cannot see, for all we know it could have been lung issues or heart issues, just dont know for sure, just cant always blame it on yourself!

Awe thanks TJ! Your birds are all so pretty, right now I just made a makeshift diaper for one of the pullets so she can hangout with us everywhere around the house. they are in the house because when we got home, it was almost dark, and i don't have a separate coop yet for seramas, so they are with my big chickens. They are so small I want them to be supervised before I just stuck them in
