I should correct myself on this one issue...


a malposition that pips first in the bator.... I will in fact do exactly as venny is doing.... check and make sure the pip is clear...... again 99% of time they get out if the airway is clear. but hers is weird looking and it should have been out....

gravy is done, it tastes delish, but I burnt my tongue in such a rush. everything is in the ovens, or warm on stovetop.

my kids and wives are forever late... mom and dad are always early but later than usual.... hope they are ok

@venymae The assist I ended up doing I think was my own fault it wa malpostioned and I opened the shell a bit to look and took out a quarter sized chunk of she'll and put the egg back because there was still blood in the inner membrane. However once the chick absorbed all that it couldn't get out because the area it would've pushed against was the area I removed. So I could just see it wiggling and breathing but making no zipping progress.

I would help your chickie out.

I agree with this. However, I don't assist any of my own hatchlings. I'll be watching until about 1pm if you have any problems.

I took the membrane off slowly and chipped a little bit of the shell just to see where the head was in relation to the body. there seems to be just a little bit of blood vessels still and the chick was very squirmy so I stopped and put him back in bater. I sprayed down the whole area with a fine mist and close it up we will see what happens when I get home

If you want someone to say leave it, I'll say it. I'd leave it alone and see what happens. Looks like its got plenty big hole, I bet it would make it on its own. JMHO

big kids are here with the wives, after dinner drinks and they are playin with the next set of kids I have and tryin to whoop them in xbox.... not sure who is whoopin who.... but at least I got everyones bellysfull and deserts are put out for them and drink in hand! I love watchin when the older kids and wives come and see them foolin with the younger kiddos I got now. Blessings today is, I sure am Thankful! yeppers!! Mom and Dad left, the girls are chattin about vacationing. And itchin to leave cause they both have to get to their own parents for supper soon.

Double Thanksgiving meals, I guess you have to reach a certain age until you finally figure out that you dont have to put yourself through all that commotion just to please parents. I forgot when I finally stop doing it to myself!

No sleep drinks, no kids cept my own until monday yeeeehaaaawwwww batman yehaww batman oh yeezus
