I tried to edit the other day, and I can... I just haven't, because I haven't seen anything to add that you haven't already done. Lol

Agree veny, probably time to get that baby out if you haven't already!!

We were watching a movie. "No Escape" good flick!

Bubbles, you rock!

its ok, I have a feeling you have not lost quite enough weight and you have big wet sticky chicks. I was seeing your air cells as a tad small. they are having issues because they couldnt absorb all the goop and when they get too big there is an yellow like substance that remains in the albumen, and kinda coats the inside of the shell, for some reason and they start to try to zip and they get stuck like glue as the air hits them.

This is another reason I run higher heat and lower humidity in my bators. its ok lets just get through these and get you some chicks
Yep, that is exactly what I have. Second one is out and NOISY!!! It was glued in one or two small spots, but the rest of the chick was very wet with lots of yellow goop

I hope this doesn't hurt the rest of the chicks. This last chick has a small bloody spot on it's naval. I put a dab of cornstarch on it and gave it a go with the dryer on low for just a little bit. I have 4 pips going on almost 12 hours now with no improvement. Hope I wake up to 4 fluff butts, but I am starting to have my doubts. I guess I'll chalk it up to a hard lesson learned

On a more positive note, I HAVE TWO CHICKS (who look like they got into a bottle of hair gel, but HEY! CHICKS!)

Which Kinds?

I have been searching and reading about making an incubator.  In my learning and searching I found a pic of fire370's ( @fire370
) cabinet incubator.  It is very nice. If you want to take a look go here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/983197/parts-needed-for-cabinet-incubator/10

That is the second cabinet I built and is a tried and proven baby cooking machine. The thermostat has since been upgraded to an advanced instead of the basic, no other changes. The first cabinet I used big computer fans but have since changed them out for a single bathroom exhaust like the second cabinet. I really need to break my laptop out and upload some pics for you guys/gals. The 3rd cabinet I built was last year I'm really digging the fan/heater combos, takes up less room.

How many heater/fan units do you have in the 3rd cabinet?

to be honest if that happens dont be afraid to run the water warm and gently hand wash them off, CAREFUL not to get their heads and nostrils, use a paper towel for that part. Its best to do it right away and get it done when they are real bad, cause you will end up doing it later on anyways. and dry them with a towel and fluff um up.

And congrats..... now whats going on with that other one I seen in that image?
