I did a quick candle this evening, just from the top without removing the eggs, and it looks like all but one of my silkie eggs are starting to develop. Armand is getting the job done! Yes! Lol. the other one could just be slower, its only day 5
Can't tell much about my lavender orpington eggs, the shell is a bit more dense and dark, so maybe by day 7.
The ducks are on day 12 and swimming around beautifully!

So, we took the dirty paper towel off the floor of the hatcher, put clean one down, and checked the eggs an hour later... One of the Maran's has pipped! thru the membrane, so everything looks good so far.

We may have Batman/Batgirl #2 here soon!

Hey guys, I am trying to get eggs for a lady who wants to hatch some and need to know how much our four days of rain and cold will have changed breeding/fertilization rates. What do you think? All young first month layers and 7 month old roo.

I am on day 14 with 31 eggs. (12 blue splash wheatan americaunas 19 RIR & RIW). I'm using a Farm InnoVator 4200 with autoturner and forced air fan.

if you say so CH I didnt even look yet...a day aint makin no difference child, you still aint staggerin a hatch PLEASE, pretty pretty please with pretty colored sugar and Jimmies on top! remind me when we are close to setting for the HAL ok?
