OOPS!   It's a blue, not a black, which is good, because when I wrote the gal I got them from she was like, hmmm..thought I got all of them from the splash blue pen.  It just looked black while wet and I didn't have my granny glasses on. 

Yay! Can't wait to see pics of those pretty blues and splashes

If I put a pure bred auracauna over a hatchery RIR what color will the offspring lay?

If the Ar roo carries blue egg gene, you should get some shade of green/olive. I'm getting some beautiful olive eggs, some with brown freckles from my EE (avatar) roo over some of my brown egg layers.
