digital, definitely.
closer, finer calibration. mine read in .1 degree increments and can be purchased at pet shops where they sell reptile supplies. I have seen similar ones at Lowes and Wally world.
Non digital I use for back up and in the brooder, a little more room for error in the brooder.
I don't trust digital at all have not found one that is right yet .also no longer trust human thermometers any more . old style yes new style no. .I want a thermometer that can be calibrated an set after it I calibrated . same with a hygrometer . I use MAINSTAYS cooking thermometer from walmart and a hygroset II for cigars for that reason . both can be reset after calibration . and both are very accurate . just saying

9200 is better than the 9300, but even then LG's are very unreliable... sometimes you can find a good one, but it is rare...
Please, DO NOT get it, CH... for a styrobator I highly recommend the Genesis 1588 Hovabator if you can afford it... 2nd choice would be a 1602N Hovabator, but that one is still air so if you want a fan in it you'd have to install yourself... please look these up and check them out...

I got the old 2362N
It's forced air tho.
That said, I dont trust it a WHOLE lot.

I need something more, Automatic.

Mine is a Hova-bator 2362N that's about twice as old as CH is; still works....tells you something about the GQF/Hovabators IMO

lg!!! how you been? NO EGGS!!!! did you file a complaint!!! oh get some ducks to set!! i want to hatch some soooo ba!
And I bout fell out the dern chair!!

We went to Trader Joes today. First time I'd ever been in one. Neat store, but no fertile eggs! However, there are 1 or 2 local stores that sell fertile eggs, including duck eggs. I'm itching to try a bit of a challenge, so may pick some of those up to hatch in March, along with some shipped eggs from a BYC reader. It will be interesting to see what I get from my own flock this spring.

Only Trader Joe's in certain states carry fertile eggs. We have them here, and I'm thinking about putting in a few with my next batch.

A lot of the reptile digitals can be reset after calibration as well, not sure about the Lowes or Wally world versions.
