I was in your spot 2 days ago my conclusion are: 1 you HAVE to put in a relabel thermometer, I dont have confidence on the digital ones, so I put an extra alcohol thermometer which is the most relabel one. 2. You should ignore the thermostat reading and go only according to the reading of the thermometer that you are shore about its accuracy . 3. You should program your thermostat that the temp will stay at 37.5-38C all the time! Even when the lights go off! This is the all point!!! In my thermostat I achieved that goal while the thermostat was on : temp 40.7C and the d( delta that will switch on ) was-0.9C! This is my thermometer:Hello everyone! So I have everything in order on the coolerbator build. Just playing with the thermostat (pretty much all day so far ) It's a little annoying but I think I'm getting it. So with a wafer thermostat what is the degree variance? I'm getting with this one that it has to fall a whole degree in order to kick on. Is this the case with a wafer as well? It seems to be holding well though. I have added jars of water and am going to try my spot check thermometer in the water wiggler and see how much the water temp changes. Here are some pics, don't mind the temp reading I just did some adjustments while taking pictures![]()
