Yea I'm thinking maybe things all got pulled out of place or something. Like maybe he absorbed it and had a long cord that he got tangled in? Because he's brushed the cord off and I don't see a sac there so ? Err I hate when this stuff happens... He's just got a bloody umbilical like maybe it all pulled fiercely or something instead of pulling off. Stupid humidity it looks ok now like 50+ but it dropped to 30
Good luck. I hope your hatch gets better.

For the bloody umbilical you can use Iodine. For the humidity you can use a warm damp rag in the bator to get it back up.

Not this week, but our killer whale paper came out last week. rIrs roost I've tried strapping them all together but they never got anywhere. Just looked in on the thread (did not read back the gazillion posts from the last 24hrs) and have NO IDEA what is going on. It is totally surreal, but guess you guys are on top of it. Good job as someone has to...
lol we don't know what's going on neither.
Go with gators and penguins.
I like penguins. Can I trade the gators for unicorns?

Hello! I really need help! My chicken had abandoned a few eggs before hatching and a single check who she had pecked badly. The check is in the incubator with another two eggs. When they hatch how do I bring them back in with the chicken?
If she's already attacked a chick once I'd be hesitant about putting more chicks with her. If you really want her to try again than do it in the middle of the night when she's sleeping on her nest but make sure you are there first thing in the morning when she wakes up to make sure she doesn't kill them.
