I'm in a silly mood:
What do you call an incubator that you own?
What do you call someone who only has a nose?

Don't say it- I already know, I'm terrible with jokes, but .... I'm in that mood right now!

YAY!!!! Go babies!!!!!

Joanne!!! How are you? Good Luck with hatch!! I have guineas hatching!

I dont like how much sugar is added to just ruhbarb pie, so we either add strawberries or wineberries

And what a great bunch of eggs too!!!

Pictures or it doesnt exist!

Like I said on the phone, just try to find the best air cells you can see and if they are looking good (not wiggly) turn those by hand
x2!!!!

Put her to work first so she'll appreciate the recreation more.
Oooh looks like fun!

Mornin', you guys!
Candling pics from last night:
Yeah, my camera is bad ... it's a lot easier to see in person!

See, even the egg is frowning at my camera! See that dark line? But, in all seriousness, that's what they look like! Darkness .... like - never mind, I won't go there!
Just lurking and trying to catch posts here and there - hard to keep up or see everything, and I keep losing all my quotes, then forgetting what I wanted to comment on. Hugs to those who need them, cheers for chickees, Banti - sorry about your chick, but thank you for sharing so I know to never make that mistake either, Happy Birthday to... was it Billy? Indiana, so sorry for your ordeal...

I know there should be more, I can't remember anything else - sorry.

But I'm posting because I wanted to say that, while I'm not sure, I THINK I see veins in the candling picture above - don't give up. I got to where when I candled, I mostly just looked to see if I could see defined veins (best seen nearer to air cell), then I would mark the air cell and put it back (giving up on trying to see more definition). I was candling blue green eggs, also hard to see.

If that helps...

OK, gotta run.

Yes, thank you, it does help. The one you think you see veins in is the most promising one so far. I'll candle again on day 14 and see what I can see. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough!
Haha I understand what you mean about losing quotes and forgetting what you're gonna say! Happens to me all the time!

Well, I had something tiny tiny hatch..under some cute Society Finches. It's so cute how the take turns sitting on the eggs. Got my camera out to see if I could get a photo..see that tiny pink thing? It's a baby Finch. Tiny! Hope it lives. The 4 of them all crowd in there at night to sleep.

There have been 19,403 posts on this thread since my last visit here. Haha. I hope everyone is well. I'm waiting for coffee to brew so thought of y'all.

I threw a dozen EE eggs in the bator. I'm going to sell them all. I'll set more in a few weeks.
